Teacher Ben Jones's Page

Hi! My name is Ben Jones, I am a Canadian currently living and volunteering in Ecuador. I wanted to introduce myself, and tell you a little bit about myself.
I have been involved in teaching English for a little more than 2 years now. I founded a company called English Learning Solutions, which you can find at thebestels.com or on social media. Along with a TEFL certificate, I graduated with a degree from Laurentian university in Business Communication. In Canada I worked as a corporate accountant for 12 years before deciding to move to Ecuador along with my wife to be more involved in volunteer work and teaching.

Aside from teaching, I have a great passion for travelling and visiting new places. I love reading, running, biking, and all kinds of sports. I know what it is like to learn a new language, as I have taught myself Spanish. I know learning a language can be a difficult and often frustrating experience, especially English. However, I am positive that I have the patience and passion to help you learn or improve your skills and abilities, no matter if you are just beginning to learn, or trying to master the language.
I have experience teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. In my experience, I have found that the most effective teachers are flexible, enthusiastic and able to connect with and adapt to the needs of individual students. That is what I strive to do, whether it is conversational ability, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, anything to improve your English level.
