Introduction:
Student learning goals come first.
I am currently an English teacher in South Korea. I've taught for about 2 years now. I have experience in teaching children and adults. I have had students with novice to advance English speaking and writing skills. My style is very informal I tend to teach what the student wants to learn. I think language has to be fun and practical. Hope to meet everyone soon.
Teaching Specialty:
I've held business internships in college and have been involved with business organizations before. I am very well aware of how to speak and act around a business setting.
I am a guy from California who has traveled to about 40 countries. I have held many Jobs from being a waiter, to a military medic, to an English teacher. I 'm great at listening and can easily keep the conversation moving.
I have my own materials and activities for elementary level students. Since I did teach that level to elementary students. They range from power points to speaking and reading activities.
On any conversation I would try to introduce my own types of relevant vocabulary not covered in reading articles. I use everyday language on all my classes. The same type of language I would use in different settings and situations.
I use video and over pronounce my words and slow my speech. I tend to correct immediately to help and reinforce a student's pronunciation.
