Introduction:

Business English and Native conversational English

Hello, my name is Laura and I'm from South UK. I moved to Portugal a few years ago and am still learning the language amongst the natives, so I can appreciate the difficulties of language learning.

You can expect a relaxed atmosphere and if it's our first meeting, an opportunity to assess your goals and get to know one another. Future lessons will then be based around your learning goals. I enjoy teaching business english and general everyday english and have a wide range of different scenarios, topics and materials to offer. I also enjoy reading and discussing current news articles and getting to know the kinds of topics that interest you, for conversation lessons.

I often introduce more native sounding and appropriate vocabulary, expressions and structure to help convey your ideas a little more easily, more smoothly and more naturally. I also correct your pronunciation and grammar where necessary and include full feedback notes in Skype, for your review.

I enjoy observing my students improve and there is nothing better than seeing all of their hard work, practice and dedication pay off. I've helped many students achieve a variety of different goals, from delivering presentations, to tour guide exams, to IELTS, TOEFL and MBA Interview training.

Also, many of my students have attended some of the Top Business Schools, such as London Business School, UCLA and Chicago Booth! Please feel free to check out some of their feedback, here on my profile.

I very much look forward to meeting and speaking with you.

Thank you.
