Introduction:

I'm an empathetic, enthusiastic, experienced American English teacher, ready to get you speaking today!

I am the owner of a TEFL school in Moscow, Russia called English for Good, LLC (ООО "Английский Навсегда"). Our school strives to help students meet their goals and expectations, especially in learning English once and for all, "for good." :)

I am bilingual in Russian, with over four years' teaching experience in Moscow, Russia in 2007-2008 and 2015-current. I also have a year of experience teaching a freshman orientation/academic success course at a Community College in Baltimore, MD. I have taught many ages, levels, and specialty areas, including kindergartners (3-6-year-olds), primary school students (1st-9th grade), young adults, and adults. Business English, General English, Public Speaking, and making presentations are my specialties. I would love to meet you, find out about your learning goals, and get started working efficiently and in a fun way to meet your English speaking needs and desires. Let's together learn English for Good!

Teaching Specialty:

Kids › Age 0-4

I have taught in Russian state Kindergartens, and I also have my own toddler daughter. I get great joy out of using songs, games, and flashcards to make learning English fun!

Topics › News Articles

I am a bit of a news junkie :) My minor in college was political science. Let's get started today digesting, debating, and analyzing the hot news topics of the day!

Writing › Email Writing

My half-decade of experience in the higher education administration field gave me great experience writing effective, concise, to-the-point emails. Let me help you begin writing clear, functional, effective emails today!

Everyday English › Slang

I am a native of America - the Washington, DC metropolitan area - and can explain slang terminology from many spheres: youth culture, business, urban, sports, video games, etc.

Kids › Singing/Dancing/Game

This was my specialty for making learning English fun for children in the Russian state kindergartens and schools. I love setting up active and energetic lessons for young learners and very young learners :))

Everyday English › General

I love working with students on developing their practical English skills, so that they can communicate and interact with other English speakers on a basic level. Let's get started today!

English Basics › Pronunciation / Phonics

I can make learning the mouth and tongue positions for correct pronunciation fun, and I present the knowledge in an understandable way, so that you will notice results immediately. The fact that I worked myself to learn a very uncommon language, from an entirely different language family, Russian, gives me the empathy and understanding to help you with your pronunciation needs :)

Business English Basics › General

I have worked in large corporate gas and banking companies in Russia and can provide the practical, targeted lessons needed by business people with a tight timeline and little free time to improve their English skills.

Kids › All Ages

I have taught primary students in Russian state schools. I make lessons interactive and fun and can hold students' excited attention for the full lesson!

Business Skills & Knowledge › Speech

I am a graduate of the Toastmasters program in the United States and can provide advanced, practical, useful tips for giving riveting and effective speeches/presentations.
