My name is Georgia, I'm 27 years old and I'm currently living in the French Alps. I'm a TEFL qualified teacher and I have over 5 years experience teaching adults and children both in the classroom and online.
I truly enjoy teaching English and understand first-hand the triumphs and struggles of language learning since I'm learning French.
I'm flexible and organised and will do my best to tailor any teaching to the students interests and needs.
Teaching Specialty:
Since I became a teacher I have prepared various students for the IELTS exam. I have an excellent understanding of what the exam entails and numerous PDF materials such as textbooks and practice papers to help all my students get the band they want.
I consider news article based lessons to be my forte and my favourite style of online learning session. As well as the extensive list that SkimaTalk provides, I enjoy finding articles for my students based on their interests and learning goals. I have plenty of my own materials including a subscription to The Guardian News Lessons on OneStopEnglish.
I have experience in teaching Business English including the vocabulary used in the workplace, on the telephone and general business environments. I have many textbooks and a subscription to Off2Class which helps me develop materials.
I have a lot of experience in teaching conversation classes as well as many textbooks and materials with discussion questions to create authentic language production.
