I am a Canadian English teacher with over six years of experience. In my hometown of Montreal, I learned French at school and later became bilingual, so I understand the learning process first-hand. In 2007 I went to China to teach English and stayed for three years. When I returned to Montreal I worked in a diverse environment where I had the opportunity to meet students from around the world. Now I live in beautiful Colombia where I am learning a new language and culture. I enjoy engaging language learners in lively conversation that is suited to their needs and interests. Whether they have never studied English before or they are at an advanced level, my students have seen improvements in their fluency, accuracy and pronunciation. I also coach the IELTS exam and other language tests.
