Hello! My name is Grainne, and I’m from North Lincolnshire in the UK. I have over nine years of teaching experience in schools and online.
I have a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Graphic Arts and Illustration. I enjoy creatively engaging with people of all ages through community and education projects, managing children’s art workshops at events, and I bring these creative skills into the classroom when teaching languages.
In 2016, I spent three months in Togo, West Africa, leading a group of UK volunteers on education and global development projects. This experience inspired me to travel to Thailand the same year to complete my TEFL certification and I have been based in Thailand for over 9 years now where I have been teaching students of all ages and levels in schools and online.
In my lessons, I focus on helping students speak naturally and confidently, using topics that match your interests, like travel, culture, work and daily life. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, and I’ll always give you clear feedback to help you improve.
