Introduction:

Experienced Canadian Teacher, helping you speak more naturally and confidently!

Hello! I'm Sabina, I'm from Vancouver, Canada, with seven years English teaching experience in Europe and Canada. I have solid experience teaching professionals, students and children of all levels and to meet all kinds of learning objectives. I love to see students expand their horizons as they improve their ability to communicate in a language that they felt was completely foreign to them. I have taught Business English to professionals and students for over 5 years, focusing on presentation, meeting and negotiation skills using real life contexts and practical, concise explanations of grammar and pronunciation. I have also taught exam preparation classes for a variety of international English university entry exams, such as the TOEFL, GRE, IELTS and SATs to students looking to work and/or study abroad. My multicultural background has made me a highly adaptable and understanding person and I try to work with each individual in a personalized way to help find the most effective way for them to learn and use the material.
I'm also a yoga teacher and practitioner and like to study yoga in my free time, as well as cooking and reading. I love travelling and hope to travel more in Asia in the future.
