Hi! Hola! Konnichiwa! This is teacher Henry hailing from the glorious Yorkshire Dales in Northern England, an absolutely wonderful part of England with fantastic history, countryside and people.

I have spent the last six years in tropical Indonesia with my lovely wife and beautiful daughter, however we have literally just moved across the world to Cadiz, Andalusia in the south of Spain. We are currently expecting our second child to be born in April, 2016. Exciting times indeed!

I am 31 years old with over six years teaching experience, achieving great success during my career as an ESL teacher. I have a philosophy that learning should be fun and I strive to keep my classes enjoyable, fresh and specific to my student’s learning needs.

I have a love for the ocean and during my free time you will usually find me either surfing, fishing, free diving or cruising in my boat. I also enjoy restoring and riding classic motorcycles, adventure novels and travel writing. I have traveled much of Europe, Asia and Australia, making many friends along the way!

I can speak basic French and Spanish, however my main skill lies within the Indonesian language, where in just six years I have become fluent to the point of dreaming and thinking in Indonesian. I understand the language learning process very well and I know exactly what it takes to learn a language successfully.

Whether you are a business learner, general learner, beginner, intermediate or advanced learner you are all welcome in my class. I have even taught aviation English to Spanish air traffic controllers and pilots as part of a Spanish government lead initiative at my previous company.

I hold a bachelor of science degree with a published thesis, took extra business modules with my degree and worked as an assistant manager for a corporate events specialist company for six years in the UK.
