ABOUT ME
I have been a professional teacher now for nearly 9 years, which include in-classroom and online teaching.
I currently live in China with my wife, although originally I come from Cape Town, South Africa.
TEACHING
I have both classroom and online experience (MANY years), and would like to think that I'm a kind and friendly teacher while at the same time taking care to ensure my students improve and get better. So while our lessons may have a casual atmosphere, I do take teaching seriously and will try my best to point out what you're doing wrong and how you can improve.

Sales / Customer Support
With Grove being a Google Partner, we worked closely with them to grow products such as Postini (an email filtration solution for businesses), into international markets. We would then continue to support these clients with our fully trained support staff for as long as they continue using the products.
Sales / Customer Support
I was in charge of growing international business, working closely with points of contact in the US and UK to develop new leads, manage the pipeline to convert into new business, at which point I would hand them over to our development and support teams.
Teaching Professional
Teaching English as a second language to students in a classroom environment. I needed to teach the following skills: Speaking Listening Reading Writing Phonics Transferable skills At higher levels, combining these skills to help students build sentences, stories and enable them to describe/explain their thoughts and ideas using English only. In 2016 I also became the Director of Studies, which meant that not only were I teaching students, but I also had to train and develop other teachers on how to become better teachers.
