Because of the hundreds of essays I have written, my grammar is at a high academic level and I hope to use this skill to help my students.

I am a native Californian speaker and can identify where emphasis should be placed in a word.

Because of writing, reading, and tests, I have a large vocabulary and am teaching my students new words, helping them expand their vocab.

One of my students who was proficient in speaking wanted to further integrate herself into American culture, so I introduced her to the slang that I use everyday.

I have taught over two thousand minutes of free conversation with various students from across the world.

Students work with me to prepare for their interviews. I assist with tailoring their answers to the positions they are applying for.

I have personally written hundreds of college-level essays. In addition, I have helped students in person and remotely with their abstracts, emails, flyers, programs, and personal essays.

I have taken multiple tests and helped students here on Skima Talk with test prep. Some of them have reported back to me and told me they felt confident in their scores.

Because I am an aspiring teacher, I help with and teach kids from all age ranges, specializing in middle and high school students.

I have experience talking with English Language Learner students from all over the world because of my position at San Fransisco International High School.
