Hi – My name is Imogen and I live in Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. I was born in London and I am a native speaker of English. I have a degree in English Language and Literature and a CELTA teaching certificate. I lived in Turkey for several years where I taught English and worked for an international publisher. During that time I taught myself Turkish so I know how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language. I have travelled all over Europe and the Middle East for my work and I love meeting people and finding out about their cultures. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly and encouraging. I believe that students build their confidence and fluency when they are talking about a subject they enjoy. My speciality is conversation, spoken English focusing on fluency and pronunciation, business English and general grammar.
