I'm TEFL certified and incorporate music and rhythm for fun and engaging experiences.
Hello, I'm Mr Keith I'm from Brooklyn NY, USA and I am so happy to be here. I love music and dance, traveling, exercise, great food and have been an entertainer and educator most of my life. I've taught English, dance and percussion throughout the world and I am also TEFL certified. Using music and rhythm, theater and engaging methods, I'm here to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for you. I teach all ages and levels. Peace n Rhythm, Love n Light, Mr Keith
Teaching Specialty:
For my advanced students I will use real life materials such as The New York Times and contemporary articles. Idioms, verbal phrases, slang, poetry, hip hop lyrics, music beats and rhythms. I love the response i get from my students when I apply these resources and creativity.
Using Bridge Universe I have access to a plethora of vocabulary. I always teach in context, use repetition, rhythm for syllables and timing, often times melody is great for inflection and intonation.
For accents, I also utilize music and rhythm. Along with Material from Bridge Universe. I always find that my students respond well and appreciate the lessons even more so.
For pronunciation, I incorporate music, rhythm and games, appropriate articles and more. Most of my Lesson plans and activities stem from Bridge Universe.
I have access to Bridge Universe, it is great for Grammar. I enjoy combining rhythmic exercises to these lesson plans and activities.
I use a multitude of TEFL resources that provide English placement tests, activities, vocabulary, speaking topics, games, appropriate articles and more.
