Hi everyone! I'm enthusiastic English teacher with business experience ready to help you learn! I have lived and taught in China, Germany, Vietnam, and Thailand and I love teaching my native language! I really enjoy sharing my knowledge of American culture with my students and learning about your unique culture. I believe it’s important to make connections with my students and build a relationship so that you feel relaxed and comfortable. I am a successful teacher because I can quickly identify my student’s strengths and weaknesses and adapt my lessons to fit each individual skill set. My lessons encourage increased student talk time. My feedback style is to offer suggestions at the end and never to interrupt a student while they are communicating their ideas. I have taught children ages 5 and up based on the US core curriculum. I focus on reading and comprehension strategies as well as speaking and writing.
I have taught business English at some of the top companies in China including Huawei, Tencent, and Bank of China. I understand the demand for learning business language and understanding how to communicate with foreign clients.
I am very interested in the news and world events. I think that news articles are one of the best ways to practice reading comprehension, vocabulary, and English discussion.
I have a clear and concise American accent and can easily help you to learn correct phonics and pronunciation

I have experience teaching TOEFL speaking and writing. I have additional materials we can use to help you prepare for the test.
