Vedi Profilo >>Hello! My name is Sophie and I am very excited to meet you. I went to college in the state of Massachusetts, where I grew up, but moved to Oregon several months ago. As a language student myself I am familiar with the challenges of learning a new language, especially one whose grammar structure and pronunciation are so far from my own. Going to France to study twice has shown me the importance of conversation with native speakers as a learning tool, and studying Greek with a native speaker has shown me the value of working with someone one-on-one to get feedback and learn the nuances that cannot be learned from a book. I have some experience teaching both in American schools and in a conversational home setting in France, but Skimatalk has been a new experience for me! I hope that we are able to connect and together we will both learn something new.
