Promoting Conversational English in a Fun Way
Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am a native English speaker and have been teaching in different areas for over 14 years to all ages. I love languages and am currently learning French and Dutch, where I am very much a beginner, and I understand the challenges, and the fun, in learning new languages. I specialize in free conversation where we start off by getting to know each other and as we tell about ourselves and what we enjoy, we all the conversation to grow. I enjoy reading as well as television and movies, which are always exciting topics to discuss.
I'm excited to meet you and help you to meet your goals for learning English, as well as learning about you and what I can do to best help be successful.
Teaching Specialty:
I enjoy free conversation as it is always interesting to see where a topic can take us. Also, if there is a news article or other type of article that is of interest, we can use that to discuss and go from there in our conversation.
I find that learning everyday English is important to those learning English, as it is the type of English that will most commonly be used. This is most helpful if learning English due to work or school, as well as in relocating, due to it being the type of English most encountered in conversation.
The basics of English is the best way to start with learning English. If this is an area that you are interested, we can talk about the basics of the English language as well as ways to remember certain "rules" of the language and ways best to memorize those.
