Hi! My name is Lucy, I am a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native who is currently living in Colombia.
I am TEFL Certified, with English teaching experience in person as well as online. I also majored in a language in college which has helped me to learn not only the importance of language learning, but also the struggles one may encounter in the process.
My goal is to help students learn English with a true native accent and dialect and to create a comfortable, easy-going, environment to practice speaking.

Teaching Specialty:
Pronunciation can be a difficult thing to master in another language and I enjoy helping students try and improve in this area. I also really enjoy teaching intonation which can be a key difference in speaking another language.
English can be a very useful tool in the workplace whether it be for job interviews, writing e-mails, or communicating with work colleagues in the office or in other countries.
I love engaging in conversations and being able to exchange experiences and knowledge all while practicing English. Through conversation I also hope show the most natural and native ways to express oneself in the English Language.
