I'm a young professional interested in helping students achieve all types of English acquisition.
Hey there!
I'm Ryan. I am from Denver, Colorado, USA. From living in Colorado, I have a huge passion for the outdoors: snowboarding, hiking, camping and general fitness. I also enjoy the lively culinary scene and fun nightlife.
I was previously in the renewable energy (solar energy) industry. I am still passionate about renewable energy and sustainable development. I'm very knowledgeable about business and standards in the United States.
I recently moved to Medellín, Colombia to teach English. I teach in-person here - typically small classes between 5-15 students. I love teaching English and enjoy seeing students make progress! I would love to work with any type of student. We can learn anything from grammar basics to preparing for interviews and formal tests to working on colloquialisms so you too can sound like a native.
Teaching Specialty:
Business acumen and lessons are prepared on an individual basis. I bring years of professional experience to discuss with students what vocabulary, grammar, and cultural customs will help them succeed in the English-speaking workplace.
In addition to the specific sound charts and phonetic resources, Colorado has a very neutral accent, which allows students to easily learn and replicate my teaching.
I love getting people started. I have a lot of resources to get everyone started. Basic resources include vocabulary and grammar that will allow students to begin learning.
