Hello! My name is Maru. I am a recent college graduate from Florida International University.
I currently live in Nago, Okinawa . My two favorite hobbies are to sew and watch movies. Harry Potter and The Hobbit are two of my favorite movies. I have experience teaching English in Nagasaki for a total of 6 months and am currently an English tutor for adults and children. My dream is to one day work with animals as a Veterinary Technician and help families lead happy and healthy lives with their pets.

4 months tutoring experience for TOEFL students in Florida International University Disability Resource Center
Detailed lessons based on improving the student's speech (word formation, word order...etc.) and expanding vocabulary. Studying Tips, Internet Resources, practical detailed exercises will be provided per the student's needs.
3 months of teaching experience, pictures/graphic resources, writing, journal, and speech exercises (present/past verbs, situational conversations). Focus will be giving and answering complete everyday sentences and questions.
Introductory conversation, followed by student's personal English learning goals. Studying Tips, Internet Resources, practical detailed exercises to help students reach their goals will be provided.
