Lesson Guidelines
Before the Session:
(Recommended, but not required) Review the news article and any new words in the article.
During the Session:
(first 15 minutes)
- Read the news article out loud to your teacher and summarize the article.
- Ask your teacher about the meaning of any unknown words.
- If you haven’t finished the article within the first 15 minutes of the session, stop reading the article once 15 minutes has passed.
(final 10 minutes)
Answer questions about the article.
After the Session:
(Recommended, but not required) Practice reading the news article and any new vocabulary words out loud by yourself.
