A native-born Canadian, I have been an English teacher since 2003 (face-to-face), and an online teacher since 2009. After teaching in China, Indonesia and Peru, I returned to Canada and I have worked online ever since.
I have helped thousands of students in mastering English, focusing on Business English, TOEFL (especially the speaking section), Conversational English, IELTS. Recently, I have assisted students in Financial English and in understanding difficult accents!

In Indonesia, I taught to business professionals, as well as the general public. Materials here were excellent, and there was an increasing need for more teaching staff, to keep up with demand.
Teaching Professional
My students are generally Taiwanese business professionals and graduate students. I used Skype, as well as school materials, in my classes. I teach conversational & business English; I also prepare students for the TOEFL and IELTS tests. Good results has been achieved for my students, including admission to prestigious colleges like Harvard, Duke, and Tuffs University, as well as the passing of immigration English tests for Canada.
Teaching Professional
I have been teaching English online with SkyEng since January 2014. My students are Russians and Ukrainians, from all walks of life: but generally professional adults. Most of my classes are conversational classes, with the occasional TOEFL and IELTS class as well. Some of my students plan to emigrate to Canada, and I help practice and improve their English as well.
Teaching Professional
A Chinese friend and I started an English school in Jiujiang, China. Initially, we did English exam preparation for Chinese adolescents. Later, we shifted to teaching small children, using the Learning A-Z reading materials. We also gave pronunciation classes. From March 2020, I have been teaching remotely from Canada, as international travel is restricted.
