Hello! I am Amanda. I am a born and breed American girl living in Colombia. I have been teaching English for two years and love it. My background is in health promotion and education. I originally set out to improve health policy and access to health care in America, which quickly turned into teaching. I love being in an educational setting whether it's as the teacher or as a student. I truly believe you are never one or the other. There is so much knowledge to be gained from others opinions and perspectives. I am so often pleasantly surprised by what my students have to offer. This is what keeps me motivated and engaged in teaching. I believe in the power of education. I love being a part of people's learning experience.
