Introduction:

Conversation, discussion, and pronunciation

Hello everyone! I'm Andrea. I'm a native English speaker from Canada and CELTA certified to teach English as a Foreign Language.

I am particularly interested in meeting new people as students, learning about others and their cultures, and having discussions on a wide range of topics from movies and music to politics and social issues. So if you are an advanced English learner who's looking to practice your listening and speaking skills through stimulating conversations and interesting discussions, then I would love to meet you and converse with you!

Teaching Specialty:

Everyday English › Free Conversation

I will provide all levels of English learners with the opportunity to practice their speaking and listening skills through conversation. The focus will be on developing fluidity, spontaneity, and natural speech patterns.

Topics › News Articles

I can help intermediate and advanced students improve their reading comprehension and increase their vocabulary through topical lessons focused on news articles and related issues and ideas.

Topics › Discussion

Each lesson will be a discussion on a particular topic that is catered to the student's interests as well as general interest topics. Discussions may be based around materials that I provide, such as news articles, short stories, Ted Talks, YouTube videos, or controversial topics.
