I specialize in teaching English grammar as well as conversational English.
My name is Anusha and I am extremely excited to teach you English through SkimaTalk. I am a native English speaker from the US and I love learning different languages; I aspire to become fluent in as many languages as I can. In high school, I took Advanced Placement English Language and Culture and English Literature and Culture. These courses have prepared me to teach English to students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Additionally, I scored nearly perfect on the English section of the SAT and have various resources to help prepare students for the SAT. I am familiar with American slang as well. Some of my other hobbies include art, singing, and dancing. I believe that every student learns differently and I am prepared to modify my lesson plan according to your style of learning!

It is important to be able to hold a conversation in any situation and I can build simulated conversations to help you become more natural in speaking English.
I have experience teaching children of all different ages as well as those with learning disabilities. I am extremely patient and I can formulate lesson plans according to the needs of each individual child.
Small talk is essential in English-speaking countries and being a native English speaker, I have the experience necessary to conduct small talk that is extremely natural.
I have achieved a nearly-perfect score on the English section of the new SAT and I have various materials to help students achieve a great score on the English section of the SAT
Advanced Placement English Language and Culture has trained me to be able to write advanced level synthesis, analysis, and argumentative essays.
I have won various awards for public speaking and debate. Thus, I have the skills to teach you how to argue your perspective in a convincing manner.
I have given numerous presentations in English and I have the skills necessary to teach you how to give a sophisticated and professional presentation
Since I am young myself, I am familiar with common slang used in the United States which can help make your conversing more natural.
I have the resources necessary to help students of all levels learn English to communicate in everyday settings in English speaking countries.
