Hello! My name is Audra and I am a graduate of the American Continental University - London. I have a Bachelors in Mass Communications and three TEFL certifications. I have tutored and taught in England, the United States, and Germany. My previous positions include assistant teacher, emotional impairment teaching aid, kindergarten resource teacher, ESL teacher, and tutor to students of all ages.
My career has brought me to many different countries and I enjoy meeting and working with people from all over the world.
Teaching Specialty:
I enjoy working with students looking to improve their English writing skills - whether it is creative writing, essay writing, business writing, or emails. It is important to many students that they have as much confidence in their written skills as they do their speaking skills. Looking at business writing samples, creating scenarios and drafting an English document in response, and other situational exercises give students great hands on experience with business and other forms of writing in English.
I have travelled and worked with adults of all ages to improve their conversational skills at various levels. I use lessons I've created to introduce every day situations occurring within a home life situation or out in public to prepare the students for conversations of all topics.
I have worked with both English native speakers and ESL students aged 2 - 21. Within the past two years I have worked extensively with students aged 6 - 12, and typically have 20+ students of this age range weekly. I use company provided material as well as lessons created on my own.
