Hi there! My name is Brianna and I'm from the United States. I am an ESL tutor with extensive experience, having taught thousands of hours to professional business adults. During the day, I work in a hospital as a maternal newborn nurse in South Dakota, United States. Because I love teaching and languages, I am also an ESL tutor! Being a TEFL certified teacher, I have taught people of all ages and all abilities both in person and online. I lived in South America for three years where I specialized in working with professional adults looking to improve their business English skills.
Aside from teaching, I am also very passionate about traveling and outdoor adventures such as hiking and camping. If you have interests in these areas, I’d love to share these experiences with you.

Teaching Specialty:
As a native English speaker, I specialize in everyday English. I desire that my students are comfortable during the lesson; therefore, using conversation to learn everyday English is crucial. While conversing about everyday life, I will help the student to correctly use grammatical structures while learning new vocabulary/slang words that are interesting to them.
As an English teacher, I specialize in presentations. In order for my students to successfully present information, I will help them to understand the structure and key components of a presentation. Once the student understands how to write an introduction, transitional phrases, etc., I will encourage them to practice by making a mock presentation. After giving mock presentations the student will be comfortable with presentations, interviews, and everyday conversation in the future.
As a English teacher, I specialize in the English basics such as all grammar structures and vocabulary. I enjoy to use interactive activities such as videos, newspaper articles, and other exercises that are relevant to the students’ needs and interests.
