Teacher Scott Wright's Page

Hello, my name is Scott wright. I am a professional English teacher originally from Whitman Massachusetts, USA. Currently, I am living in Lapu-Lapu City Philippines. When I am in the USA, I stay in my home in Conway, South Carolina.

I have over 8 years of teaching experience – 3 years in Samara Russia, 1 year in Bangkok Thailand, and 4 years online via Skype. I teach general English, business English, and English for special purposes.

I received my teaching certification from the Boston Language Institute. I hold an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management, and an MBA in Business administration.

My teaching philosophy is that everyone can learn English. I create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which aids in maximizing the learning experience. I am very dynamic in the classroom. Students not only learn English, but live English in the classroom setting.

About me, I have 3 children, one son 26 years old, one son 24 years old, a daughter 11 months old, and in June 2015, I am expecting my 4th child in June 2015. In my free time, I enjoy running/jogging, swimming, cycling, traveling and cooking. My future plans include continuing my Russian language studies. In addition, I would like to learn Thai and a third language, which I am undecided about.
