Hello there! I’m pleased to meet you! My name is Cole and I am a native English speaker from Michigan (U.S.A.) Until recently, I lived in Japan and taught English in junior high school there for many years. I have also lived and taught English in Thailand before that.
Having lived in Japan, I understand how difficult it is learning a new language and being afraid of making mistakes when talking to native speakers. And because I have lived in Japan, I can understand (and correct) Japanese pronunciation of English.
Please do not feel fearful or anxious about making mistakes. Making mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. Think of them as stepping stones to cross a river. Eventually, you will reach the other side!
I am an easy-going and patient teacher. Please be relaxed and comfortable. I will do my best to put you at ease and overcome your shyness to speak English. I am here to help you.
I have many interests and can talk about most topics in depth. I especially enjoy photography, fitness training and learning the guitar. I also love traveling, hiking, mountain biking and camping! And I love JAPANESE FOOD!!!
