Introduction:

General English, Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, FCE ), Business, Logistics, and Financial English.

Hi ! My name is Daniel. Most of my students call me Dan. I’m fluent in English and Spanish. I also speak Russian at intermediate level. I'm a passionate English teacher. Below is bit about myself. I hope to meet you soon!:)

EDUCATION
I hold a TEFL certificate, and a Master's Degree in TESOL ( Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Nottingham. I also hold BA in International Trade & Finance.

EXPERIENCE
I have 4 years of experience teaching English to young, teenage and adult learners in countries such as Ukraine, Spain, Colombia, and Russia. Most of my teaching has been done in private language schools where students learn in a group setting. In addition, I’ve tutored individual students for international English exams, Job Interviews, and Business English.

TEACHING STYLE
While successful language learning takes a lot of practice and motivation, I believe it can be done in a fun and enjoyable way. My approach to language learning is very humanistic, I focus on the student and their specific needs and goals. Most of my lessons are usually characterized by the following methods:

a) Goal setting: During our first lesson I encourage the student to describe their English goals. This way I can plan lessons to match the students needs and expectations.

b) Student Speaking Time: As a successful language learner, I understand that fluency is reached with practice. Therefore, I encourage learners to speak as much as possible during the lessons without worrying about mistakes. Mistakes are corrected in a friendly way during the lesson. This allows the student to identify the error and correct it. This method helps students to improve fluency without stress.

c) Feedback: In addition to instant corrections, I try to take as many notes during the lesson on pronunciation errors, new vocabulary and expressions. These are shared by Skype or email with the student so they can review during their free time.

d) Theme based: I try to set interesting topics with the student that will lead the conversation. This helps to introduce interesting articles about the topic, vocabulary and grammar. However, I’m always happy to discuss various topics freely:)
