Introduction:
Business English
I have worked in business for over 40 years, so understand business very well. I've taught more Japanese students than any other nationality, so understand Japanese studens. My lessons focus on business challenges in English; everything from "small talk" to running meetings, creating and making presentations, conducting interviews and making graphs and charts in English wording. I am a patient, supportive teacher who goes the extra mile for every student. I am currently helping some students with grammar, with great results.
Teaching Specialty:
My writing skills are excellent, I have been published a lot in trade press over the years. I believe I can help business students in this regard, based on my years of writing in business.
Speaking with confidence comes with practise. I provide a great deal of talking time for students and like to use role plays to practise speaking.
I am a skilled presenter and have given public presentations internationally. I draw on my own knowledge and experience, but also presentation skills courses I have attended over the years.

I taught students in class from C1 to A2, across 14 countries, teens to adults. BLC has been going for many years. I will be teaching again in summer, full-time, from June to August 2025.
