Teacher Marlowe G's Page

My name is Marlowe Gregorio, a 26-year-old California-native recently returning to the United States after spending two years teaching English in Spain. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and went to high school there, where I was very involved with Student Government, sports, and clubs. I moved to New York in 2008 to attend Fordham University, where I studied International Relations and Spanish Language and Literature. While at Fordham I was a Leader of Global Outreach, an organization that sends teams of students abroad on work-projects. I was able to lead and participate in volunteer projects in Romania and Guatemala. I also studied for a semester in the beautiful city Buenos Aires, Argentina. As you can see, I've always had an interest in languages, cultures, and other countries. Shortly after graduating in 2012, I decided to move to Spain where I took an intensive course to get my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification. From 2012 to 2014 I worked at various academies, summer camps, and primary and secondary schools in Spain, teaching English at all levels. I have experience teaching children and adolescents in summer camps and elementary and high school, as well as extensive experience teaching adult company classes. I also have experience teaching the First and Advanced level Cambridge Exams as well as Business English. I'm ready to begin this new chapter in teaching with SkimaTalk, and am excited to build and develop new relationships with my students.
