Teacher Garrett Harriman's Page

Hello, everyone! My name is Garrett Harriman. I am a native English speaker and ESL teacher from the United States. I'm very excited to work with SkimaTalk students to help improve their academic and everyday English skills.

My Education: I have Bachelors degrees in both English and Psychology. I currently teach high school ESL students in Colorado, including students with specific learning needs. My classes are a combination of online and in-person tutoring activities. I am also a language learner myself (Spanish and Japanese) and understand the challenges and rewards of improving your language abilities.

My Teaching Philosophy: I am a very tech-minded person and believe that the best learning is relaxed, interactive, and specific to student needs. Collaboration and consistency are the key ingredients for growth. If you have high standards for your own learning, I am the teacher for you!

My Interests: When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, writing, and learning languages. I am also a musician who plays saxophone and piano.
