Hello! My name is Giancarlo Buonomo and I am currently studying to become a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. As someone who has studied many languages over the years, and lived abroad multiple times, I understand how learning English (and any other language) isn't just about learning grammar and vocabulary, but also navigating cultural differences, and getting comfortable with the language in social situations. When you work with me, I'll not only tutor you on whatever language skills you want, but also show you how to apply those in the real world.
Teaching Specialty:
As someone who has lived abroad, I understand how difficult it can be to get comfortable conversing with native speakers. With me, you can speak with a native speaker, but in a low-pressure, comfortable environment.
I love to work with students on more difficult vocabulary like phrasal verbs, slang, and specialized vocabulary like names of food or sports
