Hi, I’m Hoda — a Canadian-raised English coach with 20+ years of experience helping adult learners speak confidently, clearly, and naturally. I started teaching at age 16, and by my early twenties, I was training teachers and designing one-on-one courses tailored to real-life needs: Business English, IELTS, English for Immigrants, Advanced Vocabulary, Listening Made Easy, and more.
Students often call me the "bringer of energy!" I combine structured guidance with the expressive skills of a trained voiceover artist to make grammar and vocabulary unforgettable — through realistic examples, contextualisation, and joy.

Teaching Specialty:
I use linguistic rules and formulas for correct and natural pronunciation and enunciation. We use simple written stories as practice material. As a VoiceOver artist, I also read short texts aloud for you to transcribe once you've mastered the rules we've covered.
For this, I have utilised the books: English Idioms in Use and Essential Idioms in English.
I have taught vocabulary for over two decades utilising the following resources: 504 Essential Words in English - Essential Vocabulary in Use and Essential Idioms in English.
Whether your level is pre-intermediate or Advanced, I bring knowledge, experience plus several resources such as the Intermediate/Upper-intermediate and Advanced English In Use series.

I have done several years of public speaking and workshop facilitation myself, and have trained many students for the above skills.
Besides a communicative method that relies heavily on teacher experience and topic-based communication and learning, we may use a rich variety of online resources according to student needs.
