Hi! My name is Kait. I am originally from the United States, and I currently live in Costa Rica with my husband and our dog. I enjoy traveling, hiking in the mountains, cooking new foods, and practicing yoga.
I have a degree in Communication Studies from the University of Georgia, and I have worked in several different industries throughout my career. These include hospitality, meetings and events, and marketing and promotions.
I have learned German, and I am currently learning Spanish. I understand the challenges that language learners face, and I am excited to help you overcome them in a fun and encouraging environment.
I would love to talk to you about your English learning goals so that I can tailor my lessons to meet your individual needs. Whether you'd like to have conversational practice, learn reading and writing comprehension, or improve your business English skills, I am here to help!
Teaching Specialty:
I can help you with business English vocabulary. I can also teach you about United States business culture, including in-person communication, non-verbal communication, and written communication.
If you would like to increase your English reading comprehension, we can review reading materials that will best help you improve your reading skills. If you are looking to improve your English writing skills, I can review your writing, identify grammatical and vocabulary mistakes, and provide helpful feedback.
We can start with basic questions that help us get to know each other. Once I understand your English learning goals, I'll tailor our conversation topics to help you meet those goals.
