I’m originally from Canada, but I’ve lived in Wales, Libya, Chile, and now Mexico. So trust me—I get how challenging (and exciting!) it can be to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture.
I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor, a certified career coach, and have an MBA as well. I spent over 15 years working in HR in Silicon Valley, California, so I know what it takes to communicate confidently and professionally at work.
I work with students who want to improve their Business English, get ready for job interviews, and work on pronunciation and accent reduction.
My lessons are relaxed, super practical, and all about your goals. I like to use real-life situations and fun activities to help you sound like a natural English speaker.

I worked in human resources in Silicon Valley, California for over 15 years and am a career coach, so I can help students with their resume and interview skills. I can also discuss the best ways to get a job in the United States and help them become a top job candidate.
I studied applied linguistics in University and also designed a custom pronunciation curriculum for University-level native Spanish speakers. I like to use minimal pairs practice, mouth/tongue placement instruction, and intonation and stress pattern drills to improve pronunciation.
