Introduction:

I am an English teacher passionate about using language to break down barriers.

My name is Sarah and I am originally from Michigan, USA. I am a native speaker of English, and I have been learning Spanish for most of my life as well, so I understand what it's like to learn a new language :). I have several years of teaching/tutoring experience, and I have just returned from living in Colombia teaching English at the university level. I now live in San Diego, CA.

Teaching Specialty:

Everyday English › General

Most of my experience is with students who have an intermediate level of English and want to correct small mistakes in order to progress to an advanced level.

Everyday English › Free Conversation

As a native speaker, I enjoy helping students practice their English through casual and formal conversation, spontaneous conversation as well as interview preparation.

Writing › General

Writing is one of my passions and I have taken many writing classes at an advanced level. I have a lot of experience editing student's written work in English.
