I am passionate about connecting with people through the English language.
Hi, my name is Serena Dye and I am an “all American girl”, born and raised in the Midwestern U.S. I am excited to teach and talk to new friends in English! I have 7 years of combined individual and classroom teaching experience. I especially hope to teach some kids, as I have 5 beautiful children. I have homeschooled my children for the past 7 years, and I am also a tutor at a charter school community in the subjects of English, Latin, Math, and the Fine Arts. Teaching Specialty:
We can work on pronouncing 2/3/4 syllable words by saying them slowly and repeating them back and forth to each other. We will go through lists of common words, talk about their meaning and work on pronouncing them together.
Grammar is my expertise! Let me help you use the correct verb tenses and conjugations. Knowing and understanding the parts of speech along with past, present and future tense will be of great importance!
We can do themed lessons such as Introductions, phone etiquette, names of family members, and several different fields of interest!
