ATTENTION NEW STUDENTS – Please read carefully: I can currently accept 1 or 2 new students, depending upon frequency. If you would like to apply to study with me, please follow me and send me a message introducing yourself and explaining your goals. I only work with a small group of regular students over a long period of time. We can have a weekly fixed schedule or keep it flexible. My students normally have between 1 and 3 50-minute classes (2 consecutive ST sessions) per week and I teach from Monday to Friday in the evening/night JST.

PLEASE ONLY BOOK 50-MINUTE CLASSES (2 consecutive ST sessions), I do not teach single 25-minute sessions.

ABOUT ME
I'm an experienced, energetic & fun American English teacher. I have taught at language centers, primary and secondary schools, universities, and major corporations. I taught English to thousands of students of all ages and levels in Thailand for 4 years. Now, I live and work around the world, teaching online. I LOVE to travel and teaching online allows me to work from wherever I want and meet interesting students from around the world. Since leaving Thailand in June 2014, I have lived in Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Croatia, Macedonia, Russia and now I'm in Albania.

OUR 1st CLASS
This is very important. Our first class is about getting to know each other. The first class is not a regular lesson. My job is to use this time to gather the information from you I need to plan for our future lessons. I will assess your current English level, discuss your learning goals and I'll have a lesson plan prepared for every lesson after this. Your second class is your first regular lesson.

MY TEACHING STYLE
I believe learning should be fun. I use many different kinds of teaching materials, exercises, and technologies. Sometimes I use games and activities to help you learn in ways that don't feel like studying. You learn faster and retain more when you enjoy your lessons!

YOUR LEARNING PLAN
I do a lot of work preparing for every lesson. I write lesson plans to guide each class and keep it focused on your learning goals. My teaching goes far beyond our Skype lessons. I become your English coach and create an English immersion program to help you consistently improve your speaking, listening, reading, and writing as part of your daily life.
