Teacher Tanya T's Page

Hello, my name is Tanya and I am so happy to have the opportunity to share with you my experience in my native language – English. For many years my experience has been developing in two areas. That of Primary Education for School-Age children and in Business in which I have owned three.
In both arenas, I have focused on teaching. Seventeen years ago I merged my love of business and teaching and started my own preschool, Tootlebugs, in which I taught the basics of the English language along with many other dynamics to prepare them to begin Kindergarten. It was a wonderful time in which I learned many things about myself.
One of the most important things that I learned was that I LOVED teaching, even more than business. The joy that it brought me and in return I to it, was so rewarding day in and day out. My students and families were an extension of me and my family and we learned and grew together. I continued in this endeavor for about seven years and my husband and I decided to home-school our own children.
At this time, I shifted my focus of teaching in my preschool to joining a cooperative of teachers to teach to a larger group of home-schooled children. It has been a wonderful experience serving as a teacher with my class offerings ranging from English/Literature to Science and Current Events for ages K4/5-Middle School. I am so thankful for all of my experiences that have allowed me to continue on this journey. I realize that I am a culmination of all that I have been allowed to be a part of and grow within. Both of our girls have enjoyed many benefits of being immersed in quality curricula.
