Hello! My name is Adam Crittenden.
I am 46 years old. I was born in London but I have lived most of my life in Australia. I am currently working as an English Language conversation teacher in the Esaan Region of Thailand. I am a qualified teacher in English & History and have taught in Australia in both public and government schools.
I really enjoy working as an English language teacher. I majored in Australian Literature at the University of Sydney and achieved High Distinction levels in my final year of study. I also have a Diploma of Education from the University of New England and a Certificate IV in TESOL from UNSW- Institute of Global Languages.
My teaching strengths are patience, confidence and compassion. As I am learning both Thai and Mandarin I understand how important it is for a student to have a patient teacher who is interested in the needs of their students. I have always felt comfortable learning languages when my teacher is hard working, genuine and friendly. So when I teach English I always think about how my student is feeling. I do my best to make them feel good about themselves as they learn.
I have a special office where I do all my online teaching. My internet connection is very strong 50/20 Mpbs and I am connected with fibre optic cable. You will enjoy a strong, clear and uninterrupted Skype connection during your lessons with me.
I understand grammar and will use my knowledge to help with conversation and writing. I will make your learning fun and find will ensure that my lessons are interesting to my students.
