My speciality is high level and exam course students but have taught all student types - level etc
I am a 40 year old English man living with my wife in Madrid, Spain. I have been teaching for over ten years. I have an English degree, a CELTA and have passed the DELTA exam for English teaching. I have taken classes and 121 students from beginner to advanced level, business classes and exam course students. I am flexible and have a depth and breadth of knowledge that means I am suited to all types of students from different nationalities including all over Europe, China, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia and its neighbours, Brazil and other South American countries. I am interested in pronunciation, grammar, writing, speaking and fluency practice. I enjoy seeing confidence developing in student and am proficient in instilling that confidence. Recently in Madrid I have been teaching mostly advanced level students - adults in business English, but I have also been teaching FCE and CAE to teenagers. In my school in the UK, prior to coming to Spain I spent a lot of time teaching and discussing literature and essay writing with German Abitur students. teaching elementary and pre-intermediate Saudi students was an important part of my schedule prior to 2016

Again, 'Email English' is a valuable resource and I particularly use 'Business Engilsh Handbook' from Macmillan as well as 'Market Leader'
Using past papers and particularly the 'Ready for FCE / CAE' series as well as resources from my time at British Council in teaching these courses.
Many books have appropriate units, particularly the extra material sections of general English books, FCE and CAE books and writing specific books such as 'Email english', 'Cambridge Academic English' and 'Successful Writing Profiency'. I am a writer myself and I have done work as a proofreader and regularly contribute to a magazine with my own articles
