Hello! I am an American from Mason, Michigan. I recently moved to Chicago, Illinois from Madrid, Spain. In Madrid, I worked as an English Teacher at a bilingual high school outside of Madrid.
The year before I moved to Spain, I lived and taught English in Shanghai, China.
Promoting cross-cultural exchange and teaching are both passions of mine. Helping my students to succeed in learning English and about other cultures is very rewarding.

I feel that talking about current events in English is highly useful for business English learners. I love helping my students improve their ability to talk about current events to liven up their workplace conversations and to remain relevant.

I taught English in Shanghai, China for one year at an after school program. My students were between 5 and 16 years old. I not only helped my students improve their grammar and writing, but I also helped them to accelerate their English conversation and fluency levels.
