Learning languages is something which I am very passionate about and I believe this is a passion which I communicate to my students. As someone who has studied languages for many years, I am aware of the many challenges facing students. Experience has given me many ways of dealing with these challenges and I always try to anticipate which challenges are most likely to present themselves, when they are likely to present themselves and how to best help the students overcome these challenges. I am able to effectively communicate with the students on their level and to explain, sometimes complicated grammatical structures or rules, in a way which they understand. I have the ability to quickly bond with students; this helps me assess their needs and lets them know that I am there for them and that they are able to come to me with questions either privately or during class. This bond enables me to more effectively support and give encouragement to the students.
I have experience teaching both children and adults across a wide range of abilities from complete beginner to advanced and am able to create my own materials from scratch and to design personalised curricula for individuals or classes.
