Hello, my name is Helen. . I am a native English speaker from the UK who is a CELTA qualified teacher with 6 years experience.
My passion for teaching stemmed from a love of travelling and immersing myself in different cultures. I have worked in South Korea, Spain and spent 3 summers working in an international summer school in England. I love teaching and the opportunity it has given me to interact and meet new people.
I want you to feel confident and comfortable in my lessons, working hard is important but I also believe in having a bit of fun and it’s important to me that you enjoy the classes. I have a very versatile approach to teaching methodology because I believe each individual is different and therefore the lessons will be tailored to suit your needs and personal requirements.

Free oral practice with a native English speaker is a fantastic way to improve fluency and I am very happy to help you with conversation practice. We can tailor the lessons to incorporate your interests and also I can create intriguing and memorable classes focusing on fluency and effective error correction to maximise what you get out of the class.
can teach the correct grammatical structures, language and vocabulary required at your specific English level through a variety of different resources to cover all skills effectively. I have alot of experience in teaching different levels and abilities thus I will adapt and cater for your specific needs.
I have extensive experience preparing students for PET and FCE examinations. I have access to a lot of materials including practice test papers and various textbooks. I have a very good knowledge of the test requirements and exam format and lots of tricks and tips to aid you in preparing to take the exam.
I have experience across all levels from beginner to advanced and I will help you to incorporate everyday English phrases and useful vocabulary and use them with confidence. I have access to a variety of textbooks aimed at all levels and skill focus, however I also like to use a range of resources including recent newspaper articles and reputable teaching websites.
