Hello!
I am teacher Nadine. I am Canadian, currently living in South America. I have more than 15 years of teaching experience. I am TEFL certified and I am obtaining my teaching degree. I love learning languages myself (I speak fluent Spanish and some Portuguese) and helping to connect other people through learning English. I take a personalized, flexible teaching approach.
I like to learn about your goals, interests and needs so that I can adjust my classes to better suit your specific needs. I specialize in teaching English speaking and listening skills to help you gain the confidence and ability needed to have casual and business-related conversations that flow naturally.
I also incorporate Neurolanguage coaching into my teaching style - this is based on the understanding of how the brain works and how we are naturally designed to learn new languages. Through my studies in neuroscience, I've learned the importance of FUN and enjoyment in learning. I am kind and patient. My classes are fun and interactive to help accelerate the learning process. I also like to help my students practice free conversation as it helps them build confidence. We discover the vocabulary and other areas of the language that can be improved through free conversation and address these areas as they come up. This ensures that you are learning English that is relevant and important to your specific lifestyle, goals and interests.
