My name is Rachel and I am from Scotland however currently live in Spain. I have lived and worked here for the past 5 years. During my time here I have been given the opportunity to teach children and adults English, and I have enjoyed it immensely. I have worked hard and travelled across many countries in Europe allowing me the good fortune to immerse myself in different cultures.

Working in the hospitality industry and now the property market, I work with a variety of people of all ages. I am very comfortable meeting new clients and I love telling them about the history and culture of the area. During my time in hospitality enabled me to climb the ladder to managerial positions where I carried out many interviews, this enables me to help prepare students for interviews, writing resumes, pronunciation and speeches.

I am a strong listener and take my students needs, wants, and preference into consideration, always trying new and fun ways to make my classes interesting. Utilising tools which I have found effective in the past I tailor each class to individual students to give you the full learning experience, and to make sure you get the most of our time spent together.

During our first lesson I like to get to know you, and find out a little about you. In general conversation I will gage your vocabulary and pronunciation, find out what you would like from my classes and if there are tools which you feel have perhaps worked for you in the past and things which have not. You are here to learn and I want to give you the best experience possible doing so. This initial conversion will also help me plan for future classes.
