I have professional proofreading experience and can help you with your writing!
I'm American and have taught English in Japan since 1989, specializing in one-on-one lessons. I also teach high school classes. I'm the writer of a long-running column in Mainichi Weekly, about common English mistakes, and two published books on the same topic.
With many of my students, I use a set of question and answer exercises that aren't available elsewhere. I've been using this kind of exercise for many years, and I find that students often improve their English by doing these exercises. Let me know if you'd like to try it!
My experience is mainly with teaching in Japan, but I'm happy to teach people from other countries, too!
I'm looking forward to helping you with your English!

Taught one-on-one lessons in an English conversation school. This is where I learned about question-and-answer exercises - we used them frequently at this school, and I found they were very effective in helping students to build English sentences in their minds.
I've been teaching online English lessons since 2010, when ETS closed, and also some lessons in person, before the pandemic.
