I'm American and have taught English in Japan since 1989, specializing in one-on-one lessons. I also teach high school classes. I'm the writer of a long-running column in Mainichi Weekly, about common English mistakes, and two published books on the same topic.
With many of my students, I use a set of question and answer exercises that aren't available elsewhere. I've been using this kind of exercise for many years, and I find that students often improve their English by doing these exercises. Let me know if you'd like to try it!
My experience is mainly with teaching in Japan, but I'm happy to teach people from other countries, too!
