Hello and welcome to my profile!

My name is Dani and I currently live in America! I love to help and watch people grow when I am involved with their learning experience. Learning what my student's objectives and goals are can help me create an effective lesson plan to help you make progress. It's good to note that the first lesson will be very introductory for us. We will get to know each other and so I can make your learning experience the best it can be. Japan's culture has always fascinated me, from pop-culture to language and communication styles. In my lessons I may reference some Japanese pop-culture to make the lesson fun and interesting. To learn more about my teaching specialties, please continue reading.

A little bit about me:

I received my bachelor's degree from Black Hills State University (BHSU) and I studied Mass Communications. Outside of my classes, I worked for various student operated organizations and clubs at BHSU. I was the president of the BHSU Public Relations Club, so I helped tutor my fellow students understand the fundamentals of communication and PR (as well as travel to shadow Public Relations Professions). I was also Production Director for The Buzz FM, which was the student ran radio station at my university. As Production Director, I held my own show called the Fun Fact Show and I created underwriting commercials, sweepers, and Public Service Announcements (PSA) for The Buzz FM. Lastly, I was a journalist and editor to the Jacket Journal at BHSU.

Now I am a piano teacher for children 7+ in the town that I live in :)

Interests:

I used to live in an area with a lot of outdoor activities. I used to ride my bike in the summer and snowboard in the winter. I like to play piano, guitar, drums, bass guitar, and I sing. Piano is probably my most proficient instrument so far while bass guitar is my weakest instrument. Poetry and writing are other things I enjoy to do in order to relax. If you would like to discuss any of these topics in our discussions, I'm more than happy to talk about these. We can also talk about other things, like sports and more. I learn from my students as much as they learn from me, so I look forward to working with you.
