Hi, I'm Vera! My passions include art, healthy living, and intercultural communication. I grew up in Liverpool, UK and I studied maths at the University of Liverpool, which led me to a job in investment banking. However when I was 24, I found my true calling – teaching English as a foreign language! This decision took me to Spain and later to South Korea where I taught English for 8 years, so I definitely understand what it feels like to move to another country and learn a new language. As a result, my teaching style is gentle but effective, and I am extremely patient. With over 2 years of teaching English online, I've worked with adults, teenagers, children, and corporate clients. My main goal is to make sure students enjoy learning and feel confident. I love building meaningful relationships with my students and helping them achieve their goals!
